About Katie
Katie grew up outside of Grand Rapids, Michigan, before attending Michigan State University, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Human Biology. Katie then moved to St. Louis, Missouri, where she graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Washington University in St. Louis.
Katie moved to Colorado in 2021 and began working as a physical therapist in the Vail area. She found a great passion in working with orthopaedics which led her to Vail-Summit Physical Therapy at the beginning of 2023.
Katie enjoys treating a variety of orthopedic conditions and is level 2 certified in dry needling. Katie is trained in the Movement System Impairments or MSI model of therapy and focuses on treating the body’s movement system in order to optimize performance and wellness rather than focusing on the illness and generic treatment protocols.
