On December 21st, Dr. Gloria Beim (VSON Alpine) discussed the most common ski and snowboard injuries she has seen during her 25-year career as a top orthopaedic surgeon. From stretching and strengthening specific muscle groups to wearing protective gear and tuning up your equipment, there are many ways to increase your fun and lengthen your ski/snowboard season without injury. On Thursday, December 2nd, our newest surgeon at VSON Alpine, Dr. Adam Lindsay (orthopaedic sports medicine, trauma, and shoulder arthroplasty specialist), discussed complex shoulder and knee surgery, what it entails, and when it’s necessary.
